I recently chose to stay at the Microtel for a corporate retreat and was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome I received. the staff recognized me upon arrival, showcasing their attentiveness. Despite initial concerns about the hotel's appearance in photos, I was delighted to find the rooms sparkling clean, even surpassing some 5-star hotels. For business travelers, the 24-hour front desk and the well-equipped business center proved to be convenient amenities. I found the complimentary wireless internet access reliable, allowing me to work seamlessly. the vending machines with drinks onsite were a nice touch, perfect for a quick refreshment during a busy day. The hotel's quiet and safe location just off the highway in Altoona provided a peaceful setting conducive to productive work and relaxation. Though the breakfast offerings were somewhat lacking, the mini kitchen in the room was a great alternative for longer stays. Overall, the Microtel offers an ideal environment for business travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and a hospitable atmosphere.
